note: I wrote this in a middle of a hell week. Academic requirements are piling and the pressure is on. The weight of the failures sometimes is overwhelming that it hurts just to even look up. When the fragmented parts of you are scattered among the things that you failed to achieve, it’s so hard to see beauty in that. It is so easy to be caught up in the failing and breaking, but hey, we are stronger than that. We have endured so much to back down now.
To all the broken hearts
To all the burdened souls
To those who are distressed
To those who are destroyed
When everything is shattered
And everyone’s flawed
When all is wrong
And agony’s prolonged
When the weight of the world
Is pulling us down
And the gravity is an enemy
Trapping us to the ground
When knees are weak
When heart is bleak
When our faces are rivers
Streaming with tears
I challenge those in pieces
To find strength and courage
Look above and set your eyes
To the sky’s gleaming light
If we’re weary to the things we see?
How much more the clouds?
Who never tires to appear
Albeit they see the world shattering
If we’re weary to what’s happening?
How much more the clouds?
Who never tires to watch below
The people to and fro
Seeing beyond the flaws
Is an ability and a skill
And seeking what’s good
Is a matter of choice
You need not to fly
To reach the heavens
You only need to believe
And it will be with you as long as you live
I am writing to all the broken hearts
To all the burdened souls
To those who are distressed
To those who are destroyed
Find the strength and courage
To set your eyes to the sky
Find the strength and courage
To see the beauty beyond
Life is a wheel
And everything is temporary
But within you is goodness and beauty
That’ll be with you through eternity
Be strong! You have endured enough to back down now.
