I might be one of the most boring people you will ever meet. I don’t have a thing for amusement parks or theme parks. I don’t like rides that separate your spirit from your body or a high drop that will make you scream out your lungs. Probably because of my fear of heights or motion sickness, I don’t know and uhhh I honestly don’t care. But 2018 had given me the biggest roller coaster of my life. It was scary. Overwhelming. Too much. But, I am lying if I say that I didn’t enjoy the ride. Even now, two years later, I am still in the wackiest ride ever.
I want to have this:
PREFACE
Wednesday – May 23, 2018
Manila, Philippines
Ordinary day. Five days have passed – no, scratch it – three working days have passed since our interview in the Embassy. The consul said we are to wait for 7-10 days before we get our Visa. However, our law firm assured it will only take about 3-5 days. Basically, we don’t know yet when are we going to leave. I told myself I have one more day to hype everyone about my farewell party. To be honest, I really believe I have one more week here.
Since it is an ordinary day, I opened my laptop up and started chatting all my high school and college friends, inviting them to come at my house for a simple… uhm… feast? I decided to split the event into two – considering that everybody cannot fit in my house. So college friends will come on Friday and high school friends will be on Saturday. I’m really excited to see everyone especially – uhm…lol.
So, while I was sending all the message, Dad got out from the room and asked me to search for our Visa status because my auntie said so. Kinda irritating because we both know the status is ‘issued’ and it hasn’t been a week since we had our interview. Though I have hopes for our visa to come now… it can’t be now, right?
